Storique is a browser-based software that allows you to create highly personal and unique books. The characters in your story can be based on real people for whom you have to upload a few photos. This way, you can make your children, friends, acquaintances, lovers, or whoever you want the main characters of a book. Our AI assistant supports you in writing a story and the illustrations in it are only limited by your imagination: With our specially trained AI model, you can have all the images generated in a beautiful watercolor style. The end result is professionally printed and arrives at your home a few days later.

How can I use Storique?

First register with your email address on Storique. Then an AI assistant will guide you through these steps: first, you have to define the characters of your story and upload 8 good quality images of each person. Second, draft your idea for an initial storyline. Then you have to order a book and within 24 hours you will receive an initial online version of your storybook which you can edit as you wish to create the final storybook. How many real characters can I include in a book?

You can include up to 3 real characters in your book. Each character needs 8 good quality photos for the AI model to create accurate illustrations.

In what style are the books illustrated?

Our books are illustrated in our signature Storique style, which is our own development designed to suit our users' needs best. This style captures everything in a truly recognizable and beautifully watercolor-painted aesthetic. Please check out our blog to see the style and complete books created in our aesthetic. Illustrations in other styles like Disney, anime, Lego, etc. are currently not supported in our app.

How long does it take to create a Storique book?

When you defined the characters and the main storyline for your book (which takes approximately 10 minutes), within 24 hours you will receive an initial 26 pages long version of your illustrated personalized storybook. You can then rewrite the story and regenerate the illustrations as you like. This adds as much time to the creation as you wish to invest. Your AI assistant takes a few seconds to write a page, and approximately 10 seconds to generate a new illustration according to your wish.

What is included in the price of a Storique book?

The price includes the usage of the Storique software with an AI assistant writing and illustrating the book, and hardcover print and shipment. You can generate 100 illustrations and unlimited text while creating your book. See our pricing page for detailed information.

In which countries is Storique available?

Storique is currently available in Switzerland and in EU countries, except for the islands of these countries.

What happens to the pictures I upload for personalization?

At Storique, we prioritize the privacy and security of your data. We securely store your photos and your custom AI model. Our database, authentication, and storage provider is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, ensuring that your data is handled with the highest security standards. The trained model, which generates images of your characters, is accessible only to you. Rest assured, uploaded and generated images are never used for any other purpose. Currently, Storique doesn't offer a free version, and for good reason: to make your book truly personalized, we train a unique AI model specifically for you, enabling it to create custom illustrations of the individuals who become the heroes of your story. This is made possible by advanced technology that leverages complex computations, performed using high-performance GPUs. Renting these computing systems for the training on your photos and ensuring that your data is fully protected incurs significant costs.
